I’ve spent the past 15 years living and breathing the oilfield—not because it was handed to me, but because it became who I am. After earning degrees in economics and petroleum engineering from West Virginia University, I stepped onto my first location and never looked back. The pace, the problem-solving under pressure, the raw teamwork it demands—it all clicked. I’m the kind of person who thrives out there, sleeves rolled up, making real-time calls that matter.

I’m a hands-on guy at heart. I founded River & Rocks LLC because I wanted to bring straightforward, field-rooted perspective to operators who value honesty over hype. I believe the best results come from preparation, clear communication, mutual trust, and genuine respect for the crews who make it all happen. Safety isn’t a checkbox for me—it’s non-negotiable. Good people deserve to go home whole every single day.

I’m always learning, always pushing to get better. Whether it’s staying current on new technology, refining processes after every job, earning fresh certifications, or studying ways to make operations smarter and cleaner, I’m never standing still—on or off the clock. That drive to improve carries into everything I do.

Home for me is Bozeman, Montana, where wide-open country keeps me grounded. When I’m not on a location, I’m fishing rivers, hunting the backcountry, flying as a private pilot, or just being with my family. Those pursuits teach the same lessons the oilfield does: patience, discipline, reading the conditions, and always doing things the right way.

At the end of the day, I’m just a guy committed to hard work, straight talk, and building something lasting—one well, one relationship, one day at a time.
